I believe that children should be allowed to enjoy and embrace their childhood. Every child should be loved and accepted as an individual with needs and wants.
I believe that children need to play. They need to have the opportunity to openly explore their environment. A child should feel secure enough in their environment to learn without worries of safety. Children should be given the opportunity to explore the question, “ What if ...”
I believe the connections between school, home and the community that influences the child are important for the support of the child. Open communication is the key to building these relationships and caring for the child’s needs from every aspect.
I believe that the whole child should be nurtured. Each child should be respected as a unique individual. Differences should be embraced and encouraged. The independence of each child should be strongly supported. Children should be taught to make decisions for themselves whenever possible and to take responsibility for their own growth and safety
